[2021. Newsletter No. 3] Selected as 17 ‘Unique Venue’, a unique meeting spot in Gyeonggi-do
Gyeonggi Province selected on the 30th 17 places including Suwon Traditional Culture Center as “Unique Gyeonggi Venue.” Unique Gyeonggi Venue refers to a unique local meeting spot for the MICE industry, such as corporate meetings, reward tours, conventions, and exhibitions. You can feel a unique atmosphere and a different charm compared to traditional meeting facilities such as convention centers and hotels.
The 17 selected sites were △Asian Publishing Culture Information Center (Paju) △Korean Folk Village (Yongin) △Suwon Traditional Culture Center (Suwon) △Herb Island (Pocheon) △Shingu University Botanical Garden (Seongnam) △The Hill House (Yangpyeong) △Petite France (Gapyeong) △Art Bunker B39 (Bucheon) △Hyundai Motor Studio Goyang (Goyang) △Onemount (Goyang) △Gwangmyeong Cave (Gwangmyeong) △Everland Resort (Yongin).
Gyeonggi Province received 37 candidate sites last April, reviewed infrastructure, accessibility, and management capabilities, and finally selected 17 sites following a field visit by a joint judging panel composed of academicians and related experts.
