For the executives, it’s a triple win—they get to hold their meetings, experience the venues firsthand, and get all their questions answered about Gyeonggi-do's various support programs!

This year, we kicked off our first Gyeonggi MICE On-site Talk by meeting with the executives of the Korean Society of Endoscopic Neurosurgery (KOSEN). It was their first time at Suwon Convention Center, and they were thoroughly impressed during the venue tour! They absolutely loved the clean, modern facilities and the high ceilings of the convention hall. And, thanks to the stunning lake view from the VIP meeting room, the atmosphere was filled with laughter throughout the entire on-site talk.

The second Gyeonggi MICE On-site Talk took place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo, the first 5-star hotel in the southern region of Gyeonggi-do. The executives of the Korean Homehealthcare Nurses Association were absolutely charmed by the luxurious meeting rooms and the exceptional service. Worried about the hotel’s accessibility by public transportation? No problem! The shuttle bus service provided by the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization took care of that concern, making it a stress-free experience!

We’ll be hearing directly from Ms. Sukhee Choi, Manager at the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, who played a key role in organizing these events. She’ll be answering the burning questions that these academic societies have and sharing some golden tips on how to make the most out of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization's support—up to 120%!

Let’s dive into Dae Jang Geum Park in Yongin and take a walk through 500 years of Korea’s fascinating history. Adventure awaits!

Dae Jang Geum Park is Korea’s largest open set, and it’s absolutely incredible! It brings history to life by meticulously recreating streets and homes from the Three Kingdoms to the Joseon Dynasty. This place isn’t just for historical dramas—modern dramas, movies, and commercials are all filmed here too! Iconic productions like Jumong, Yi San, and Jewel in the Palace (Dae Jang Geum), along with BTS’s Daechwita music video, were all shot at this amazing location. No wonder Hallyu fans from all over the world are flocking here! Ready to explore the magic of where history and pop culture meet?

This is the marketplace! With every detail carefully crafted, down to the smallest props, when you see the transformation, you can almost hear the hustle and bustle of the old market streets coming alive. It’s like stepping right into the past!

This is where BTS shot their epic "Daechwita" music video, and it couldn’t have been a better match for their powerful dance moves! It’s the very spot where kings in so many historical dramas held their grand ceremonies. The atmosphere here is so majestic and thrilling—you can almost feel the energy of the performances as you step into this place!

Have you watched "Jewel in the Palace," the iconic drama that represents this place and kicked off the Hallyu wave in 87 countries around the world? As you stand in the royal kitchen set, you can almost see Dae Jang Geum cooking up a storm right in front of the fire. It’s like being part of the action—so thrilling and fun!

The Choi Woo-sa Residence, a recreation of the home where a powerful military leader once lived, was absolutely jaw-dropping. It’s so stunning and the lines of the architecture are so beautiful that you can hardly believe it was a private home! It’s no wonder directors love filming here—this place is like something out of a dream!

This is Jeonokseo, a circular prison from the Joseon Dynasty. The unique round design makes you think it must have been perfect for keeping a close watch on everything. It’s such a fascinating and intricately detailed structure as well as truly remarkable when seen up close!

After an exciting half-day at Dae Jang Geum Park, why not take it up a notch and head over to the Korean Folk Village? Here, you can dive right into the daily life of the Joseon era, just like it was 500 years ago! And if you’re looking to end your day with some modern-day fun, don’t forget to add Everland to your list.
